Hood County for Healthy Children is dedicated to helping the families in Hood County develop and practice healthy parenting practices. We know that being a parent or caregiver is stressful and you can’t do it alone.

- Parent Cafés are free and held in your community. Sessions are designed to help you take care of yourself, raise healthy children and build strong relationships with your kids. Get more information on upcoming Parent Cafés.
- For normal, healthy infants crying is a very common occurrence, especially during the first 12 weeks of life. Between 2 and 6 weeks of age a baby’s crying steadily increases and can put a lot of strain on parents. There is a concept called the Period of PURPLE Crying aimed at educating parents on why this crying is normal infant behavior. Click here to learn more.
